Reactive hypoglycemi: This is a sudden drop of blood sugar after a meal usually 2-4 hours. It is a very unpleasant sensation and one that is easily resolved, as you discovered, by eating something, which rapidly returns the sugar to normal. A single time when this occurs is less concerning, but if persists, see your doctor who can do tests to make sure nothing else is causing it (rarely is), and help coach to prevent.
