How does a positive mind help attacking cancer cells?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Self care is better: If you have a positive attitude, you are more likely to take better care of your diet, manage your physical and emotional stressors, get healthy sleep and exercise. All of these are supporting your health including your immune system, which may be involved in fighting the cancer and repairing from insults such as chemotherapy. Your mind is not attacking the bad cells, scientifically speaking.
