See gynecologist: Vaginal discharge , irritation may associated with a infection other than a yeast infection. You should see your gynecologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. You may have a yeast infection resistant to that specific otc medication. Other infections such a bacterial vaginosis, trichomonas, contact dermatitis , or other skin conditions can have similar symptoms to a yeast infection.

See a doctor: I would see your obgyn. You may need a culture to identify the causative agent. You may still have a yeast infection that is resistant to your initial treatment.
