Progesterone Shots : Some of the side effects of these shots include temporary diminished as well as excessive bleeding, or spotting and light bleeding in between the return of a "normal" menstrual cycle. The usual approach is a "watchful waiting" while your body adjusts to your new hormone levels and re establishes its Progesterone environment, but, if you are concerned, discuss this with your gynecologist.
