Progesterone: Progesterone changes thru out the month. Increases at ovulation and comes back down if no pregnancy occurs. In the later years the Progesterone begins to decline in perimenopause before menopause occurs. This may cause decreased menstrual cycles. I would consider having your hormones checked to make sure.
