Possible viral cause: That temperature range is not unusual for a 3 year old. Several factors can cause this. Stay quiet for awhile, small amount of clear liquids, by teaspoon full and watch. Look for temperature change, up or down, and other problems, stomach cramps, diarrhea or aching all over. Consult your primary care if this continues.
