Dry itchy rash: It is difficult to give an accurate diagnosis without a picture of your skin. The most common cause of dry itchy skin with or without a rash at this time of year is "winter itch." with the cold air outside and the air usually overheated and dry inside your skin gets all dried out. The treatment is with lots of moisturizer and humidifiers indoors. Other causes would be fungal rashes or allergies.

Many possibilities: There are many things that could cause the skin to itch. Several types of inflammatory conditions of the skin, allergic reactions, and sometimes bacterial, viral or fungal infections can cause rashes on the skin. Insect bites can also be the cause of a rash on the skin. Have it evaluated by a professional and get the appropriate treatment.
