Ganglion cyst: If it isn't bothering you nothing needs to be done. It doesn't lead to anything worrisome. A doctor can take a large needle and take out the thick gel like material, and sometimes that makes it go away. If not doing this and injecting it with a little steroid. Finally, surgery if that does not help. No prescription will help.

Wrist ganglia: Commonly come from the dorsal or palmer surface they arise from the radiocarpal joint near the scapholunate interval or palmar at the radio carpal joint but they can also arise at any part of the wrist. Treatment can the observation aspiration or surgical removal depending upon how it feels how it affects functional movement and whether there's any pain pain is not a common feature . But if there is pain one has to search for a possible underlying cause for the ganglion such as an old fracture sprain or arthritis.
