Surgical resection: Ganglions can fluctuate in size over time, but generally require surgical resection for cure. It is important to resect the entire ganglion down to the base in order to minimize chances of recurrence. Unfortunately, recurrence is always a possibility even when resection is performed properly. If your prior 3 attempts were performed by the same surgeon, you may want to try a new surgeon.
