HCG levels: In pregnancy HCG is expected to approx. Double every 48 hours. Abnormal rise could be due to several factors such as abnormal pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy. It is important to also check and see if all tests were performed at the same lab. Ectopic pregnancy possibility should always be considered as it can lead to severe complications. An evaluation by your doctor is a must in this situation.
