Likely constipation: What you describe sounds like constipation, especially if it has happened before. Talk to her doctor. Constipation can be really sneaky. It is very common as children often don't eat very much of fruits and vegetables. Dietary changes can make a huge difference, once everyone knows what the problems are. Taking in enough fluid to stay hydrated can also help decrease symptoms.
