I need to know what is the left adnexa? i am very confused. is it the part from the uterus or the tube? need help with a clear answer.

Next to the uterus: The "adnexa" is the part of your body next to the uterus. It's easy to tell if tenderness is coming from the uterus by and examination. However, if your tenderness is noted to be to the left of the uterus, we call that "adnexal tenderness". This includes the fallopian tubes, ovaries, and blood vessels in that area next to the uterus as well as any cysts or infections that might be there.

Adnexa: The adnexa is all the parts attached to the uterus, but not the uterus itself. This includes the ovaries, the fallopian tube and the supporting structures. We use the term to describe the general location of things when a more precise term cannot be used.
