Several things: An elevated sed rate and a positive ANA are non-specific tests that can signify several different conditions that would need further evalutaion by a rheumatologist including ruling out collagen vascular diseases as one example. Good luck.

Joint pain ^ ANA,ESR: This certainly sounds like inflammatory arthritis. Elevated ESR suggests inflammation . ANA is a marker for inflammatory arthritis such as lupus. It is non-specific but further testing should be done. Also important to have opthalmology exam as certain forms of autoimmune or inflammatory arthritis can cause inflammation or damage to the eye called uveitis . You should see a rheumatologist.
