Probably: The maximum daily dose is 4000mg daily, so you are well within the guidelines. Nevertheless, if you are taking the medication for an injury consider Ibuprofen or naprosyn instead. They work on inflammation, and tylenol (acetaminophen) does not.

Be careful: Every patient is different. This high dose seems to be within accepted regimens (assunming normal liver function). But remember if you are liver patient or on other drugs (including alcohol) metabolized by the kidney, this may affect the normal clearance of Acetaminophen and put you at risk. Nine days seem a long time, so try to see if you can come off the regimen or titrate off.

Maybe: That can be a lot of tylenol (acetaminophen) in such a short period of time. Talk to your doctor.
