Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Go see your doc: Amlor is a brand name of amlodipine sold in saudia arabia (http://www.Drugs.Com/international/amlor.Html). Please discuss use of magnesium w/your regular doctor. In and of itself, it has not been shown to lower blood pressure, although you still need enough of it to minimize risk for bad heart rhythms (dysrhythmia). On the other hand, you don't want too much because this can lead to diarrhea.
