Unlikely: Although there are a wide variety of symptoms which have been reported from people who have experienced exposure to fire ant sting(s).

If not allergic: Fire ant stings will not kill you but they are painful. About 15% of people have fire ant sting allergies. The sxs may be mild or could be more severe. In extremely rare situations there have been deaths related to fire ant stings in people with severe allergies.
