See below: If it went away i would not be concerned. You were experiencing tinnitus. Were you exposed to any loud noises? Were you experiencing any dizziness, vertigo, or heating problems with this noise?

Tinnitus: This buzzing sensation is called tinnitus, and it may be due to a variety of causes. Read===>http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/tinnitus/ds00365 for the facts and then, if your symptoms don't go away, and most cases disappear on their own, make an appointment with your doctor to evaluate the underlying cause and have him suggest a treatment plan.

Tinnitus or insect.: See a doctor for an otoscopic exam to make sure the ear canal is clear. An otolaryngologist is a specialist who could assess the symptom and determine the cause, appropriate evaluation and therapy.
