A huge firework blasted close to my ears and im really worried did i damage my hearing? i can only feel a bit heaviness and pain but i dont notice any change. what does tinnitus sound like because i hear this sound like weeee when im in a silent room?

Very loud noises, especially chronically, can damage hearing, and especially degrade the high-frequency sensorineural receptors. A solitary high-decibel explosion, such as a gunshot or fireworks can also damage hearing. Tinnitus at your age is a sign of hearing change, but it may be transitory. See an otolaryngologist, and get an audiogram to objectify the problem. Always use ear protection.
