Should blanket be used in crib/sids/care provider should blankets be kept in cribs/childcare provider

No: Swaddling is often necessary to promote rest with newborns as they transition out of the tight feel of the womb to the loose outside would. However, this should be loosened gradually until the baby is comfortable without it. By a month of age babies should be in a crib alone to rest with no bumpers, blankets or pillows.Babies die every year when they tangle up & suffocate on these items.

Avoid loose bedding : Loose or soft bedding should be avoided as it might increase the chance of suffocation or strangulation-mediated crib death.
