I read that taking clomid (clomiphene) on days 3-5 produces a lot of follicles but not so strong but taking it on days 5-9 will produce few but strong. how true?

Neither: The earlier you start Clomid (clomiphene) the more likely you will make make more than one egg. And also it makes for a more regularly timed cycle. But as far as overall effect it does not make any difference. The eggs are the same.
