Get checked out: No period for 6 months means you're not ovulating regularly. See an ob/gyn or a reproductive endocrinology (rei) physician to find out why: pcos (polycystic ovarian syndrome), thyroid or prolactin problems, low egg supply, or low hormone levels from exercise, stress, eating disorders etc. If not ttc you can take birth control pills. Depending on the cause it may or may not affect future fertility.
