It is not unusual for periods to be irregular in otherwise healthy women. But if it persists you need to see a GYn. I think you will be just fine. Good luck.

If you have stopped having periods and unprotected coitus is not an issue, there is some other reason for the change. You are advised to see a trusted ob-gyn for examination and evaluation.

Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
