Two answers.....: First, Clomid (clomiphene) has a long half life and is still in your system when you start your next cycle and so the dose was additive to what was left over in your system. More likely is the inherent cycle variation that we see from cycle to cycle. Especially when we are struggling against some strong inhibitors of ovulation such as mod/sev pcos or hypothalamic ovulation dysfunction. Good luck.
