I guess that perioprotect would need to be used 3 x's a day since 3 meals. i think bacteria reforms after one hour. so, what is its real value?

Local control: It's similar to when you have an infection, you don't have to take antibiotics every hour in order for it to be effective. The biggest difference is that with perioprotect you are controlling the biofilm and bacterial colonies under the gum line and in-between the teeth at a local level rather than systemically.
