Very rare : Although brain tumors are the third leading cause of cancer death in young adults (behind leukemia and lymphoma), the incidence is rare. From 2000-2005 there were 1500 cases of malignant and non-malignant brain tumors in the age range of 20-24(according to seer data). Rate of 4.7/100, 000 years. Bottom line- it's rare.
