Inflammation response: This is a result of the inflammation which involves redness tenderness swelling and pain make sure that you have no broken bones or no abscess or infection. It may feel hot tender and red for a while as the muscles and soft tissue's repair this is a normal inflammatory response.

Arm warm after harm.: If your arm feels warm but is not....Probably irritated / injured a nerve that is now sending false input back to the brain. If your arm really feels warm then i suppose you have some blood vessel dilation in the local area trying to heal the injury.
