I have a herniated disk in my back/ shoulder area. i have being seeing a surgeon for it but surgery is not an option at this time so what do i do?

I always perform a nerve conduction study to see if there is any nerve damage. If there is nerve root irritation then an epidural shot may be helpful. Also I have found decompression treatment or inverted tables helpful for tempory relief.
