Can i take ibuprofen within 4 hours of taking 500mg naproxen?

Not a good idea: It is not a good idea as both are non steroidal drugs and naprosyn is longer acting and still working if you are taking for pain better choice will be tylenol (acetaminophen) 650 mgm and can be taken every 4 hours for pain up to 4 times a day and there is no contradiction of it being taken with naprosyn.

No: You took a high dose of naproxen, so have to wait 12 hours for another nsaid. You can take tylenol (acetaminophen) if still having pain and/or use local cold / hot compresses to relieve discomfort.
