Not recommended: Alternating ibuprofen or Naproxen with Tylenol (acetaminophen) can provide greater relief and minimize side effects. Alternate them every 4 to 6 hours. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is better for pain, and Ibuprofen is better for inflammation.
