Some problem exists: Eating meat specifically is really no more likely to cause tooth pain although it might be getting caught between your teeth more. As this is not normal you likely have some tooth or gum problem. See your dentist to determine what's wrong and what needs to be done to fix it.

Could be: Pain that occurs when chewing may or may not be tooth related. Sometimes this pain occurs in the muscle or tmj. If the pain is localized to a specific location it may be a tooth. If it is generalized throughout your mouth it may be the gums. Your best bet is to see your dentist to establish the origin of the pain and treat it accordingly.
