Depends: It all depends on how far post-op you are. If it is just a couple of days then work on sliding your heel up and down the bed. If you are a couple of weeks to months out from surgery you could have excessive scar that formed. Of course it also depends on what diagnosis they found during surgery. If there was bone on bone arthritis that could also cause the knee to lock up.
