A member asked:

When should someone think about having an arthroscopy of the knee?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Many reasons: An arthroscopy of the knee may be able to treat many different pathologies from cartilage defects, meniscal tears, ACL and PCL reconstructions, some malalignment problems. If you have one of these problems and it is causing difficulty with normal activities, arthroscopy should be considered.
