You're lucky.: Not all women have symptoms of menopause. Menopause is defined as no periods for 1 year off hormones. So, if you have missed 4 periods, you are not quite menopausal but perimenopausal. Fsh is a hormone that tells the ovary to produce estrogen. This is generally elevated in women that have low estrogen because their ovaries aren't producing it.

Different 4 evrybody: Women experience menopause differently. Some women have symptoms for years before and still have them years later. For some lucky women, the periods stop, and that's it. Technically, we usually wait a year before declaring someone post menopausal.
