Menopause: Missing from your message is whether you have only seen your primary doctor or you have already seen a gynecologist. Primary care doctors are excellent but as you approach and go through menopause you would be better served by a gynecologist.

Am I in menopause? I am a 43 yo f normal cycles until mid July when after my period noticed spotting that sent me to order hormone tests fsh and e. These came out all in postmenopausal range. I had a normal cycle 10 days prior. How is that possible?
