I am being treated for marginal zone n-h lymphoma with rituxin. after three treatments- no improvement. how long does this drug take?what to use next?

Stable?: If no worse then keep the course. If it is worse, then a diffferent therapy is needed. Marginal zone lymphoma is typically a low grade and watching and waiting is also appropriate. Rituximab is a very active drug in this type of lymphoma. Hope this helps.

Usually: The anti-cd 20 antibody is used with cytotoxics. Commonly a pet-ct is done at the start to identify areas involved. If a lump is not responding, might re-biopsy and check markers and assure its nhl, and not hodgkin's. Alternate chemo and XRT are prospects for true resistance.
