It depends: Bone healing usually takes 6-8 weeks depending on the type and location of the fracture. Each person has a different healing potential depending on age and overall health. Factors that may speed your recovery include: immobilization, elevation, good nutrition, follow your physicians’ instructions and do not smoke.

Immediately with PT : Depending on the casting duration and reasons why a cast was implemented, you should be able to put full weight on your foot with pt rehab and utilizing a temporary walker boot.
