Ideas for making them feel better include sitz baths (soak in warm water), ice packs, using a soothing cleanser like balneol instead of wet wipes or dry toilet paper. Avoid sitting on the toilet for more than 5-10 minutes. Increase your fiber to regulate your bowel movements so they are neither too soft nor too hard.
