NO: There are two kinds of hemorrhoids, internal and external. If you have large internal hemorrhoids, they can be banded so that the blood supply is cut off and they eventually go away. This is NOT something you can do yourself. There are also external hemorrhoids which can be treated with suppositories, sitz baths, or surgery. You need to see a GI doc or a surgeon for evaluation
