Yes with fx alignmen: Yes, with proper anatomical alignment of the fractures of the medial and lateral malleolus and the posterior aspect of the tibia. Hardware maybe problematic if synedesmodic screws were place across the ankle joint to provide stability of the ligament rupture. Time is the best indicator to return to sport activity.
