Iron: Could be due to iron in either the formula or cereal thea you child is eating.

Depends: This stool could be normal, but the black specks could also represent blood from an illness or allergy. If your child looks well then i would make a doctor appointment for early this next week to be evaluated. Go to the er if your child looks or acts sick.
