Green stool: If this infant is receiving breast feedings regularly - it may be entirely normal. If the infant is receiving formula feedings she or he may start to show signs of intolerance to the particular formula. A thorough examination is in order here by your pediatrician and regardless of the feeding method - stool samples may be required for further evaluation.

Nothing special: The greenish color in stool is the breakdown product of the bile when it has not been in the gut long enough to go through a change to yellowish or brown. It is normal as is the loose or mucousy consistency. The germs in the gut will also impact the final product. I'd just monitor the issue and discuss your concerns with the doc at the next regular visit.
