Next come disease modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (dmards) like sulfasalazine, Methotrexate & corticosteroids. 3rd level is tnf blockers like enbrel, Remicade (infliximab) & humira. Rheumatologist can optimize therapy for best relief of symptoms. Regular daily exercise is also important to maintain posture & function.
