How does 50 mg tramadol hcl compare to 5-325 percocet in terms of strength and pain killing ability?

Percocet is stronger: Percocet (oxycodone/apap) is significantly stronger than tramadol. Every patient is different. I normally use tramadol as a first line pain medication and if not effective move to hydrocodone. I then go to oxycodone if hydrocodone is not effective.
