Acid-peptic disorder: This sounds like about the right location for acid-related stomach lining irritation. I'm glad this is "just" nausea and a tightness in the epigastrium rather than vomiting blood and stabbing pain through to the back. Reasonable initial treatment would be any acid-reducing medication like pepcid, zantac, (ranitidine) prilosec, or prevacid. Avoid trigger foods like chocolate, coffee, caffeine, and tobacco.
