Yes..get checked: Go see your pediatrician or gynecologist immediately. You may be impacted, which means you have very hard stools. This may be easily remedied, but it could cause pain and other complications if you wait any longer. Call your doctor tomorrow and get checked.

Lots of reasons.: Try walking and drinking a lot of water and fruit juice. It is not normal to not have a bowel movement for a week unless yours are very infrequent. Rec see dr.

Probably: It is unusual for a 16 year old to have serious constipation. The mass you feel could be stool but you could also have an umbilical (belly button ) hernia with a loop of intestine stuck out in it. You should see a physician soon. If it is not a hernia, you might just need a cathartic and a diet with more fiber.

Not good: When feces get "backed up" in the abdomen, it can lead to a toxic megacolon or even rupture. You should seek care immediately to determine what the issue with your bowels is at the present time and have it addressed appropriately and quickly.
