A member asked:

Is it safe for an 18month old baby to have a tonsilictomy and adnoinectomy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: The surgery you are describing is a fairly common one, but by no means would i call it minor. The anesthesia will be one of the biggest risks. If you are having concerns over the procedure, then discussing them with the surgeon would be an appropriate next step.
