Car or street??: In the car, always place your child in an approved rear facing car seat in the back seat of the vehicle. If walking in busy traffic, consider keep your child in a back pack or a stroller, but if your child insists on walking and tends to jerk away suddenly, then a harness with a leash makes sense. Always use sidewalks if present or face oncoming traffic if not. Wear bright clothing/ reflective.
