A member asked:

Can a primary hiv rash occure as 3-4 pimples on the back, without fever or other symptoms? thank you

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not: The rash with HIV tends to be red and flat or a bit raised. People have other flu like symptoms as well. Pimples are probably just pimples. If lots more emerge on only one side of the body in a strip this could be shingles. If the same cluster always comes back in the same place, this could be an unusual location for herpes simplex.
