14m old capable of walking. never does it w/o prompting.lacks confidence.should i take her push toy away so she'll stop relying on it? doesnt need it

Walk alone: If she doesn't need , let her walk alone.

Why push things: Some kids don't get to the point of independent walking until 15 mo.As this skill becomes more proficient kids will prefer it.Early on the issue of balance & awkwardness may cause them to prefer a less worrisome form of movement like crawling or scooting. If you just provide a stimulating environment & encouragement the kid should improve over time.
