Foods w Salmonella ?: Salmonella is usually transmitted to people through contaminated food such as eggs (inside the egg or on the shell), chicken, turkeys & even on fruits or vegetables contaminated by animal feces (especially raw sprouts). Unpasteurized dairy products can carry Salmonella. This applies to any raw food of animal origin.
